"In 2006, I bought a few vacation condos on the island of Curaçao (next to Aruba) which were primarily rental properties. One of the properties was co-owned as an LLC with eight members of which I was the managing partner… Sound familiar?

In my 30s, I visited Spain and fell in love with the country. Ever since I bought the properties in Curaçao, I've dreamt of owning properties around the world and being able to visit them when I wanted, while renting them out the rest of the time. Now, with your help, I'd like to make that dream a reality for myself and whoever would like to join me. Mortgage interest rates have increased significantly from their low in 2021, causing many buyers to be priced out of the vacation home market. Home prices are expected to level off and likely drop in the next 12 to 18 months. The vacation properties we pursue will be purchased cash, giving us a significant negotiating advantage over the competition as market conditions tighten.

What's more, an Allied Market Research study found that ‘The global Vacation Rentals Market Size was valued at $91.2 billion in 2021, and is projected to reach $315 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 12.4% from 2022 to 2031.’ This anticipated growth, coupled with the softening of home prices, provides us with a unique opportunity to capitalize on trends in the vacation rental market.
